What could bring joy to the hearts of Trinity members who, because of health, can't get out and about very much?
FLOWERS!
The bright cheery flowers from Sunday's altar floral bouquet continue to do
their magic of lifting hearts with the help of the team of ladies who make
smaller bouquets for Trinity members who are not able to come to Sunday worship
services because they are ill or in nursing homes. These bouquets and the
visit and the church bulletin and the well-wishes of the people who deliver them
bring a bit of sunshine and a feeling of family into these homes and nursing
home apartments.
CHILDREN!
When the bouquets are delivered by kids, the level of happiness rises
greatly. From time to time, the younger members of Trinity's youth help
the Flower Ministry team by joining them on their flower deliveries. This
is a joyous time for the shut-in members of Trinity and the flower delivery team
alike. There's lots of love, laughter and singing when the kids come
along.
You may have noticed on the Youth Activities bulletin board the poster made by Austin West which showed photographs of the most recent visit. Visit the Scrapbook Page to see larger photos of some of these photos.
