Trinity's University  Activities

Prior to the 2003-2004 academic year, Trinity's campus outreach programs consisted of support for the Wesley Foundation and a poorly-attended Sunday morning College Sunday School class.  When we found that most of the students who attend the Sunday morning worship service are not affiliated with Wesley, we realized that we needed to develop some in-house programs to serve the University.

Under the stimulation and leadership of our pastor, Rev. Alan Head, we began rolling out programs for the traditional student, older students, and the faculty and staff.  Much of the first effort was directed at offering a place to socialize and relax or learn in a safe, Christian environment, although there are also opportunities for bible study and worship in the fellowship of other collegiate peers.  The 2006-2007 school year marks our fourth year at work in this program.

While we are located just across the street from the campus of The University of Alabama, we are here to serve college students from any institution of higher learning in the Tuscaloosa area.  If you are a student at The University of Alabama, Shelton State, Stillman, University of West Alabama, or if you are a college student elsewhere and are planning to be in Tuscaloosa, check us out.

Take a look at what we have developed for you at Trinity and what is planned for the future.
