WHAT IS S.I.F.A.T. ?

S.I.F.A.T (pronounced see-fat) stands for Servants In Faith And Technology and refers to a missionary training organization in Wedowee, Alabama. The leaders of S.I.F.A.T. know that one of the most practical ways to share God’s love is in the merging of faith and technology.
Volunteers are taught to establish farms while maintaining the integrity of rainforests, to establish microenterprise within urban slums, to build and maintain schools in third world countries, and to promote safe motherhood while combating infant mortality. In short, they are taught to bring God’s peace and love, in practical ways, to others.

The Mercy and Mission Cluster led a group of Trinity members to Wedowee on October 28 for an overnight visit to SIFAT where they learned new respect for the meaning of "Go, ye, into all the world."
