Choir Appreciation Night September 13 at Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinner |
|||
|
At the Wednesday Night Fellowship Supper on September 13, about 55-60 Trinity members serenaded the Chancel Choir in less than dulcet tones. Boy, are we glad they are the ones sitting up there in the choir loft (or over there in the right front pews)! We cherish their time and talent donated to Trinity and to the glory of God who graced them with their voices that bring such beauty to our worship services. Each one in the choir is a busy person, so their devotion of their time and talent to us is a special gift--and we gratefully appreciate it.

OUR FAITHFUL CHOIR
(tune:
“She’ll be Coming Round
She’ll be coming from across the River when she comes He’ll be coming down McFarland when he comes They’ll give music all attention; and oh, did we mention? They’ll be coming from all directions when they come. She’ll be singing high soprano when she comes He’ll be hitting oh so low notes notes when he comes They’ll be blending many voices on selected hymnal choices. They’ll be singing like God’s angels when they come. We appreciate your service all these years. We appreciate your service all these years. You have been a faithful choir. Bowing heads, we lift you high - er. We appreciate your service all these years.

Jon House, Director, expressed the feelings of the choir for the demonstration of love and gratitude from the congregation. He diplomatically did not comment on the musical quality of the serenade.
